Perfect travel salmon rod

I bought this rod because it's big enough for salmon and other ocean-going fish, and it fits into my suitcase! I've used it in Mexico and Canada, and I've haven't caught a fish that this rod wasn't able to handle (no marlin yet). It's perfect for salmon, steelhead, and most inshore ocean fish. Great price too!

Not up to par!

This rod has a good look and feel, also comes in a nice case. The rod sections are in a sock type sleeve. It came with 2 end pieces, which I later discovered why. While carrying the rod on my fishing trip at the beach, the tip stuck in the sand as I was walking, causing it to flex slightly and it just snapped, I thought no problem, I have an extra piece. On my next trip, the rod made it through the morning fishing trip, until I was carrying the rod back with my lure hooked through one of the eyes, with some tension, creating the rod to bend slightly. As I set the rod down with the rest of my gear so that I could wash off, the tip of the rod snapped off yet again. Now I am left with a broken rod and a nice carrying case. I have contacted the seler to see if there were any ways to resove this issue and will be waiting for his reply.
