Broken Cherrywood Rods

Berkley Cherrywood Rods are great rods for the money. However, I would not recommended buying them from Amazon, of the six rods they sent me four were broken in shipment. Amazon's packaging was substandard for shipping rods, they should have used more ridged packaging with packing material to protect the rod.

Great rod for Canada fishing trips, two pieces for easy transport on fly in trips. I like the action and feel.

Do not buy!!

My husband and I are avid fisherman and we purchased 4 of these rods. Before we could even go fishing the tip broke off one. After fixing that, we were fishing and the first fish my husband tried to land with one broke the rod in half about 3inches from the joint! These rods are not very sturdy. We ended up replacing them all after that. Fortunately we had no more problems after replacing them! We will now only use these for Crappie!
